Doug Peterson is a third-generation custom home builder with a rich family heritage in the construction industry. From a young age, Doug was inspired by the dedication and expertise of his Grandpa Gerald, his father Jerry, and his uncle Greg, each of whom played a pivotal role in shaping his understanding of home building.

Originally from Indiana, Doug made his way to Texas as soon as he could, driven by his passion for the industry and a desire to create exceptional homes in the Lone Star State. For the past 15 years, Doug has been a cornerstone of the Horseshoe Bay, TX, community, bringing his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence to every project.

Doug’s love for getting things right the first time is matched only by his dedication to his skilled crew, who have been with him for over a decade. He values the strong relationships he has built with his team and their families, making sure each project is a true collaboration.

At home, Doug resides in Horseshoe Bay West with his wife, Meghan. Doug’s son, Zachary, is eager to follow in his father’s footsteps and learn the family business. Their household is completed by their four beloved dogs: three French Bulldogs—Rose, Violet, and Babs (who often joins Doug on job sites)—and Pearl, their wise and gentle Rhodesian Ridgeback.
